American made box-lock over and under double barrel shotgun chambered for 2 3/4" 12 Gauge shells, manufactured in 1974 in Ilion, NY. Featuring approximately 27 3/4” barrels with vent rib, barrels marked & measure Full / Mod, ejectors, steel bead front sight, single smooth curved trigger, bore selectable pivoting tang safety, and checkered top lever. Gloss finished walnut furniture consists of a semi-pistol grip shoulder stock with checkering at the wrist, checkered and grooved forend, faux wood checkered grip cap, 13 3/4" length-of-pull, 1-3/8" drop at comb, 2" drop at heel, and faux wood checkered buttplate. Receiver displays limited coverage roll stamped dog scene on sides of receiver. Numbers "9258" match on barrels, forend, and receiver. Bores are excellent and bright, and the action is tight with the top lever resting right of center. The original finish retained is approximately 95% with light scattered scratches (mostly in the form of contact wear on the barrel for the forend), light edge wear on the trigger guard, and the top lever is turning plum. Metal shows no rust or deformation. Furniture wood is near excellent with very minor scattered scratches and blemishes. This shotgun includes the original green factory cardboard box and manual.
